Dr. Linda Larcombe is an Associate Professor at the Max Rady College of Medicine, University of Manitoba. She holds cross-appointments in Medical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, Community Health Sciences, and the Department of Anthropology. Her research focuses on gene polymorphisms influencing immune responses to infectious diseases among First Nations communities, integrating environmental, socio-cultural, and genetic factors. She advocates for Indigenous-led research methodologies and capacity-building initiatives.
