Linda Diffey is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Community Health Sciences at the Max Rady College of Medicine, University of Manitoba. She is also a Researcher at Ongomiizwin Indigenous Institute of Health and Healing. Her work focuses on anti-colonial and anti-racist pedagogy in medical education, systemic colonial oppression in healthcare, and Indigenous resurgence methodologies.
Education:

Research Interests: She explores Indigenous methodologies, health equity, and the integration of Indigenous knowledge into medical curricula. Her projects include developing anti-racist educational frameworks and supporting Indigenous student mentorship.
Awards: Recipient of the Indigenous Award of Excellence - Community Builder (2018) for her contributions to Indigenous health education.
Grants & Mentorship: Co-Principal Investigator of the Prairie Indigenous Knowledge Exchange Network (PIKE-Net), funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR). She has mentored Indigenous students in health research for over a decade.
Labs/Teams: Active in Ongomiizwin Research and the Indigenous Physicians Association of Canada. She co-led the national Indigenous health curricular framework for medical education.
