Pamela J. Forman

Pamela J. Forman serves as Professor and Chair of the Department of Sociology at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, actively engaged in teaching and community-focused research with Fall 2025 office hours scheduled.

Dr. Forman's research centers on health equity in Eau Claire County, transgender and reproductive rights activism, and community needs assessments of local non-profits. Her critical work in sport sociology examines transgender inclusion and sexual abuse in intercollegiate athletics, demonstrating deep commitment to social justice through community engagement and advocacy.
