Palitha Konara serves as a Senior Lecturer in International Business at the University of Sussex Business School and is affiliated with the Centre for Inclusive Trade Policy (CITP). Previously, he held a professorship in the Strategy, Operations and Entrepreneurship department at the University of Essex, establishing expertise at the intersection of corporate strategy and international trade policy.
His research investigates critical global business dynamics:

Professor Konara's scholarly contributions include publications in premier journals such as Journal of World Business and Journal of Product Innovation Management, earning him the Danny Van Den Bulcke Prize for best paper from the European International Business Academy.
