Pagona Lagiou serves as Professor and Chair of the Department of Hygiene, Epidemiology and Medical Statistics at the School of Medicine, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece, and holds an Adjunct Professorship in Epidemiology at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, USA.
