Ottavio Quirico

Dr Ottavio Quirico holds positions as Honorary Lecturer at the University of New England's School of Law and Visiting Fellow at the Australian National University's Centre for European Studies. He also serves as a senior researcher at the University for Foreigners in Perugia. His academic career includes visiting professorships at institutions such as the University of Pisa and the Raoul Wallenberg Institute at Lund University. Dr Quirico specializes in international law, climate change governance, EU legal frameworks, and their intersections with environmental and human rights issues. He has authored/co-authored influential works including Australian Uniform Evidence Law (2022) and Climate Change and Human Rights (2016).
