Orlando Dickson

Orlando Dickson is an Undergraduate Lecturer in Law at the University at Buffalo School of Law, specializing in Legal Reasoning, Criminal Law, and Public Law within the Undergraduate Law BA Program. He holds a Juris Doctor from UB Law, a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership, and a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies from the University of Massachusetts, both with honors. He is a U.S. Army Combat Veteran and serves on the Erie County Corrections Specialist Advisory Board. Previously, he contributed to legislative reforms on police use of force, body cameras, oversight mechanisms, and New York’s Marihuana Regulation & Taxation Act (MRTA).

Notable work includes co-authoring Evicted in Buffalo: The High Costs of Involuntary Mobility (Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations) and contributing to legislative advocacy. Dickson holds a record 18 certifications from Cornell’s eCornell Program in business, management, marketing, economics, communications, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
