Spencer Clough

Professor Spencer Clough is the Associate Dean for the Law School / Library at UMass School of Law, University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. He holds a Juris Doctor (JD) and Master of Library Science (MLS) from the State University of New York at Buffalo, a Master of Arts (MA) from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from SUNY at Buffalo.

• Admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
• Member of Phi Beta Kappa, American Association of Law Libraries, American Bar Association, and American Library Association

His professional background includes over thirty years of experience in law librarianship, spanning roles such as Assistant Director/Head of Reference at the State Library for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and Associate Director for Public Services at the University of Connecticut School of Law library. He also served on the Kingston Public Library Trustees for 17 years and co-founded the Kingston Public Library Foundation.
