
Oren Gross

Oren Gross is the Irving Younger Professor of Law at the University of Minnesota Law School and a Senior Research Affiliate at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law. His expertise spans international law, national security law, and the Middle East conflict. He holds degrees from Tel Aviv University (LL.B., 1st in class) and Harvard Law School (LL.M., S.J.D.).

Research Interests: Professor Gross focuses on emergency powers, conflict resolution, and legal frameworks for national security. He co-authored Law in Times of Crisis, which won the American Society of International Law's 2007 Certificate of Merit.
