Eli Wald is the Charles W. Delaney Jr. Professor of Law at the University of Denver's Sturm College of Law. His primary focus is legal ethics and the legal profession, addressing issues like access to justice, lawyer mobility, and structural discrimination within law firms. He holds S.J.D. and LL.M. degrees from Harvard Law School and undergraduate degrees from Tel-Aviv University.

His research examines implicit bias in legal professions, kinship-based promotions, and systemic barriers to diversity in law firms. He also advises on judicial ethics and teaches CLE programs.
Wald previously practiced litigation at Paul, Weiss in NYC and remains engaged with the arts through board roles with Wonderbound and Friends of Chamber Music Denver.
