Aeyal Gross

Prof. Aeyal Gross is a distinguished scholar at Tel Aviv University's Faculty of Law, where he teaches International Law and Constitutional Law. He also holds a Visiting Professor position at SOAS, University of London, and has previously served as a research fellow at Harvard Law School, Columbia University, and the European University Institute.

• Education: LL.B. from Tel Aviv University (1990), S.J.D. from Harvard Law School (1996), and Diploma in Human Rights from the Academy of European Law (1998).

His research spans critical intersections of International Law, Human Rights, and LGBTQ+ Legal Theory, with a focus on occupation law, health rights, and queer globalization. His work combines doctrinal analysis with socio-political critique.

Prof. Gross's recent scholarship examines Global Health Law, Food Sovereignty, and Postcolonial Queer Theory. He has contributed to debates on privatization of health services, legal aspects of occupation, and the politics of normativity in human rights.
