Or Cohen-Sasson is a law and technology scholar affiliated with the Transatlantic Technology Law Forum (TTLF) at Stanford University. His research focuses on innovation policy, intellectual property, and computational law. He holds a doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in law from Tel Aviv University (2023), alongside LL.M., LL.B., a B.Sc. in biology, and is currently completing a B.Sc. in computer science.
As a TTLF Fellow since 2023, he collaborates with Ofer Tur-Sinai on an empirical study examining the role of U.S. and European funding agencies in advancing open science. This work bridges transatlantic policy analysis and empirical research in science funding mechanisms.
Cohen-Sasson has published in prestigious journals such as Science, EMBO Reports, and Arizona State Law Journal. His awards include top honors in the ATRIP Essay Contest (1st place in 2019, 2nd in 2022).
