On Amir serves as Professor of Marketing and Senior Associate Dean for Faculty and Research at UC San Diego's Rady School of Management, holding the prestigious Wolfe Family Presidential Endowed Chair in Life Sciences Innovation and Entrepreneurship. His academic journey spans from Yale University to his current position at UC San Diego, where he has progressively advanced from Assistant Professor (2005) to full Professor (2018) while also serving as Associate Dean of Programs (2018-2021).
