Omar Tahhan is a stage-one creative-practice PhD researcher at Newcastle University's School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape, focusing on Memories and Architecture. Under the supervision of Professor Adam Sharr and Professor Zeynep Kezer, his research examines how memory shapes Damascus's urban identity and resilience through speculative memory, spatial politics, and neuroarchitecture.
