Oliver Hart is the Lewis P. and Linda L. Geyser University Professor at Harvard University, where he has taught since 1993. He was awarded the 2016 Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel and holds fellowships in leading academic societies, including the Econometric Society and the National Academy of Sciences. His work spans contract theory, corporate finance, and law and economics.
