Olga Sergeeva

Prof. Dr. Olga Sergeeva leads the Molecular Neurophysiology group at the Institute of Clinical Neuroscience and Medical Psychology, Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf. Her research investigates aminergic neurons controlling wakefulness, focusing on histaminergic and catecholaminergic systems, with applications to sleep disorders, Parkinson’s disease, and hepatic encephalopathy.

to study synaptic plasticity, receptor mechanisms, and neural circuit interactions.
