Dr. Olga Kozlowska is a Senior Lecturer in Research and Knowledge Exchange at the Oxford School of Nursing and Midwifery, Oxford Brookes University. Her interdisciplinary work bridges physical and mental health, with a focus on diabetes care, dementia research, and healthcare integration. She contributes to the Professional Doctorate in Nursing Programme and supervises PhD/Professional Doctorate students, while also serving as:
- NHS Sponsorship Lead for the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences
- Postgraduate Research Tutor for the Oxford School of Nursing and Midwifery
- Public Engagement in Research Lead for the OSNM
- Qualitative Research Advisor, NIHR Research Design Service South Central
Her research program develops patient-centered approaches in:
- Diabetes and mental health comorbidity
- Integrated care models
- Patient-reported experience measures (PREMs)
- Dementia care pathways
- Healthcare professional safety
- Racial discrimination in mental health settings
She coordinates research seminars for the Centre for Nursing, Midwifery, Health and Social Care Research and has led projects funded by the Oxford Biomedical Research Centre and National Institute for Health Research.
