Dr Olga Kalogeraki is a Senior Lecturer in Management and Lead for the MBA in Global Healthcare Management at York Business School, York St John University. She holds a PhD from the University of St.Gallen (Switzerland) and an MSc in Human Resource Management from Brunel University. Her research focuses on CEO political ideology, corporate governance, and gender-related disparities in executive compensation. Her work has been published in high-impact journals like Journal of Management Studies (ABS4*) and Long-Range Planning (ABS3*), and recognized with prestigious awards including EURAM Best Paper Awards in 2018 and 2023.
Teaching responsibilities include postgraduate modules such as Global Business Strategy, Sustainable Business, and Organisational Strategy. She currently supervises 15 capstone projects at the postgraduate level. Her research explores intersections between leadership ideology, organizational outcomes, and diversity issues. She is a member of the People in Employment Settings (PiES) research group and has collaborated with institutions like Roche Pharmaceuticals and SBB Switzerland.
Key research contributions include examining how CEO and board political ideologies influence corporate misconduct, gender pay gaps, and succession dynamics. Her interdisciplinary approach bridges strategy, international business, and ethics, with a focus on practical implications for organizations.
