Olga Daneyko

Dr Olga Daneyko is a Senior Lecturer in Psychology and Course Leader for the MSc Psychology Conversion Course at the Sheffield Institute of Social Sciences, part of the College of Social Sciences and Arts at Sheffield Hallam University. She holds a PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of Trieste (2011) and a master’s degree from Moscow State University (2005). Her research focuses on perceptual mechanisms, particularly visual and haptic illusions, lightness perception, and affective facial expression recognition. She has previously worked at Italian universities including Pavia, Parma, and Milano-Bicocca before joining Sheffield Hallam in 2018.
