Olav Sundnes

Olav Sundnes is an Associate Professor at the Department of Dermatology, part of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Oslo. His research focuses on cytokine signaling in skin inflammation, particularly mechanisms involving IL-33, NOTCH receptors, and epidermal homeostasis. He has contributed to major clinical guidelines like the EuroGuiDerm Guideline on Psoriasis Vulgaris and investigates genetic factors in rare skin disorders such as Sturge-Weber syndrome and keratolytic winter erythema.
