Beata Bergler-Czop

Beata Bergler-Czop is a Research and Teaching Professor at the Department and Clinic of Dermatology, Faculty of Medical Sciences in Katowice, Medical University of Silesia. She obtained her doctoral degree in 2003 and was promoted to Professor in 2020. Her work focuses on dermatological research, including psoriasis, acne vulgaris, and inflammation mechanisms. With over 409 publications, she holds an h-index of 15 (Scopus/WoS) and a Total MEiN score of 6,608. She has supervised 10 promoted theses and contributed to 4 infrastructure projects.

Her research interests span clinical dermatology, systemic and local treatments, and epidemiological studies on skin conditions. Key focus areas include psoriasis pathogenesis, acne therapy, and risk factors analysis in dermatological disorders. She actively participates in multi-center studies and has published on cytokines, drug therapy outcomes, and sex/gender differences in dermatological presentations.

She maintains active collaborations via Scopus, EuropePMC, and ORCID (0000-0003-3788-5984), contributing to global dermatology research networks.
