Olaf Müller is a researcher at the University of Münster, affiliated with the Department of Sociology and the Cluster of Excellence 'Religion and Politics'. He holds a Dr. phil. (summa cum laude) and has been a research associate at the Institute for Sociology since 2008, focusing on Sociology of Religion, Political Culture, and Social Change. His work addresses topics such as religious transmission across generations, integration of Muslim populations, and religious pluralism in post-communist societies.
Education: PhD in Sociology (2011, summa cum laude) from the University of Münster; Diplom-Soziologe (1998, TU Dresden); studied Water Management (1989–1991, TU Dresden).
