Okhee Lee is a Professor and Peter L. Agnew Professor of Education at New York University’s Steinhardt School, specializing in STEM education for multilingual learners. Her work integrates science, language, and computational thinking to address equity and justice, particularly through the SAIL curriculum. Lee has led initiatives like the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) Diversity and Equity Team and contributed to the Understanding Language Initiative at Stanford University. Her research is funded by the National Science Foundation, emphasizing justice-centered approaches to STEM education, such as using computational modeling to address societal challenges like the pandemic.
