Angelika Nußberger is a full Professor at the University of Cologne since 2002, holding the Chair of Constitutional Law, International Law, and Comparative Law. She serves as founding Director of the Academy of European Human Rights Protection and director of the Institute for Eastern European Law and Comparative Law. Her international roles include Vice President of the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe (since 2021), international judge at the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and advisor to the German Foreign Office on international law.
