Nur Akter is a statistician and data analyst at the University of Exeter Medical School, working within the Exeter Collaboration of Academic Primary Care (Apex) group since March 2022. She collaborates with Associate Professor Gary Abel on applied healthcare research projects.

Before her PhD, Nur worked as a research assistant in clinical data analysis at the College of Engineering, Mathematics, and Physical Sciences, University of Exeter, demonstrating interdisciplinary expertise in data-driven healthcare solutions.
