Noël Tredinnick is a Professor of Conducting, Orchestration, and Music Studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, where he has taught since 1975. He held the role of Organist and Director of Music at All Souls Church Langham Place from 1971 to 2019, during which he founded the All Souls Orchestra (celebrating 50 years in 2022) and developed an influential music ministry program. He is a renowned composer, arranger, and broadcaster, known for his contributions to Christian worship music through Jubilate Hymns Ltd/Resound Worship and the Song and Hymn Writers' Foundation.
His research and professional activities focus on music education, liturgical composition, and the intersection of music with worship. Since 2016, he has hosted a daily broadcast on Premier Radio. Awards include a Lambeth DMus (2002), Fellowship of the Royal School of Church Music (2009), and BEM (2021).
Noël is affiliated with the All Souls Orchestra and actively engages in global music education initiatives through lectures and workshops in Europe, the USA, Australia, and Africa. His personal interests include architecture, theatre, and outdoor activities.
