Nora Renick Rinehart is an Assistant Professor in Craft at NSCAD University, teaching textiles. She holds a BFA in Fibers from Maryland Institute College of Art and an MFA from University of Wisconsin-Madison, with 15+ years of professional textiles experience.
Her interdisciplinary research investigates intersections of autotheory, phenomenology, and queer theory through textile design, quilting, sculpture, and fashion. She creates works combining academic theory with accessible artistic expression that engage broad audiences. Pedagogy forms an integral component of her research methodology.
