Geryn Roche

Geryn Roche is a Ceramics Lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) and teaches at Mount Mary University. She holds an MFA in Ceramics from the University of North Texas (2013) and a BFA in Ceramics with a teaching certificate from the University of Iowa (2009). Her professional roles include serving as a First Year Program Lab Technician and leading studios in ceramics. Roche is an active artist, having exhibited work nationally and internationally since completing her MFA.

Research & Practice: Roche’s work focuses on ceramics as both an artistic medium and an educational tool. She maintains an active studio practice in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Labs/Teams: Oversees First Year Program Studios and laboratory facilities at UWM’s Art & Design Department.
