Professor Nona McDuff OBE is Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Provost at London Metropolitan University. Her career is defined by leadership in equality, diversity, and inclusion in higher education. She champions widening access and has redefined inclusion as a quality metric in teaching and professional services.
Her research focuses on inclusive curricula, the degree awarding gap, and differential attainment. She developed the Inclusive Curriculum Framework, recognized nationally and adopted across five other institutions via the Office for Students’ Catalyst Programme. Key achievements include the Guardian Teaching Excellence Award (2017).

- Past roles: Panel member of Teaching Excellence Framework, UUK Racial Harassment Advisory Group, and Ministerial Social Mobility Advisory Group
She advocates globally on disability and widening participation, and has addressed the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Higher Education, challenging policymakers to advance social justice through education.
