Nitya Jacob is a Professor of Biology at Oxford College, Emory University, where she has been a faculty member since 2002. She holds a Ph.D. in Horticulture and Crop Science from The Ohio State University and previously served as an NSF Teaching Postdoctoral Associate at Knox College. Her leadership roles include Chair of the Natural Science and Mathematics Division (2017-2024) and Interim Director of the Oxford Center for Teaching and Scholarship (OCTS).
