Nina Rowe is the John Marion Professor of Art History at Fordham University, specializing in the art of northern Europe from the twelfth to fifteenth centuries. Her work focuses on illuminated manuscripts, Jewish-Christian relations in medieval visual culture, and historiography.

Her research explores illuminated World Chronicle manuscripts (Weltchronik) from southern Germany and Austria (1330-1430), anti-Jewish imagery in cathedral façades, and the modern reception of medieval manuscripts. She has received prestigious fellowships from the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
