Nina Marie Petzel is a Lecturer and PhD researcher at the Department of Criminal Law, Faculty of Law, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. She is also affiliated with the Kooijmans Institute, the Center for International Criminal Justice (CICJ), and the Netherlands Network for Human Rights Research (NNHRR). Her academic work bridges legal doctrine and empirical research in the domain of international criminal justice.
