Anne-Marie Slotboom

Dr. Anne-Marie Slotboom is an Associate Professor at the Criminal Law and Criminology Department of Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, affiliated with the Faculty of Law, A-LAB (Amsterdam Law and Behavior Institute), and the Empirical and Normative Studies program. She holds a PhD from Leiden University, specializing in developmental psychology and cross-cultural studies. Her research focuses on women's imprisonment experiences, juvenile delinquency, and gender-specific interventions in criminal justice. She collaborates with institutions like NSCR and De Waag Forensic Psychiatric Clinic.
