Dr. Nimi Wariboko is the Walter G. Muelder Professor of Social Ethics Education and Director of the African Studies Center at Boston University. A transdisciplinary scholar, his work integrates economic ethics, Christian social ethics, African social traditions, Pentecostal studies, and philosophical theology to address societal flourishing and justice.
- Education: PhD in Ethics from Princeton Theological Seminary (summa cum laude), MBA in Finance and Accounting from Columbia University, and BSc in Economics from the University of Port Harcourt (first class honors).
His scholarly framework emphasizes praxis, temporal orientation in African culture, pneumatological ethics for pluralistic societies, and antifragility in socio-economic systems.
