Nima Kasraie

Nima Kasraie, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Radiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center, specializing in Medical Physics. He holds dual board certifications in Nuclear Medicine Physics and Diagnostic Radiology Physics from the American Board of Science in Nuclear Medicine (ABSNM) and the American Board of Radiology (ABR). Dr. Kasraie is also licensed in Texas and serves as lead physicist at Children's Medical Center in Dallas and Children's Health in Plano.

He has contributed to international initiatives like the CT dose benchmarking registry and pioneered phantom-based evaluation of pediatric airway imaging protocols. Dr. Kasraie also emphasizes improving communication of radiation risks to parents and training radiology residents in imaging physics.
