Timothy Blackburn

Dr. Timothy Blackburn is Professor of Radiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center, specializing in medical physics for diagnostic imaging and radiation safety.

Roles: Oversees mammography physics support at Parkland Health and UT Southwestern hospitals. Manages equipment compliance, shielding design, and quality assurance for radiographic, CT, and fluoroscopic systems.

Education: Ph.D. and M.S. in Radiological Sciences from UT Southwestern; B.S. in Radiologic Technology from Midwestern State University.
