Jeffrey Guild

Jeffrey Guild is a Professor of Radiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of its Medical Physics section. He provides clinical diagnostic medical physics services to Parkland Health and Hospital System, Children’s Medical Center, and Clements University Hospital and Clinics. His roles include lead physicist for diagnostic medical physics support, overseeing equipment performance, shielding design, and ACR accreditation.

• Fellowship in Biomedical Engineering: Georgia Institute of Technology

His research focuses on diagnostic medical physics, radiation dose estimation, and clinical collaborations in vascular surgery. He actively contributes to peer-reviewed publications in these areas.

Dr. Guild chairs the Radiation Protocol Committee for Interventional Fluoroscopy and serves on committees such as CT Operations and the Institutional Review Board. He is affiliated with the American Association of Physicists in Medicine and holds American Board of Radiology certification in Diagnostic Medical Physics.
