Nikos Skoutaris

Nikos Skoutaris is Professor of European Constitutional Law at the University of East Anglia's School of Law. He holds a PhD from the European University Institute and has held positions at Tilburg University, Maastricht University, and LSE. His research examines how the EU constitutional order accommodates self-determination rights.

Current projects include Brexit's impact on UK constituent nations and the accommodation of internal self-determination through legislative autonomy. He has advised the European Parliament on Brexit-related issues.

Awards include the Federal Scholar in Residence Program and UEA Engagement Award. Current research funding focuses on climate change adaptation through Horizon Europe projects.
