Vilija Vėlyvytė is Lecturer in Law at the University of Reading School of Law and Deputy Director of Postgraduate Research. Her scholarship focuses on EU constitutional law, particularly federalism, competence allocation, socio-economic rights, and post-Brexit regulatory frameworks.
Her award-winning monograph Judicial Authority in EU Internal Market Law (Hart, 2022) received the SLS Peter Birks Book Prize and was shortlisted for the UACES Best Book Prize. Current editorial work includes co-editing The UK Regulatory Framework Post-Brexit (OUP, 2026).
