Nikole Allen

Nikole Allen is a Lecturer in Health Policy and Management at the Yale School of Public Health and Program Director for the Connecticut Public Health Workforce Initiative. She holds an MPH from the University of Washington's Department of Global Health and a BA from Western Oregon University in International Studies and Health. Her work focuses on global health systems strengthening, leadership development, and workforce capacity-building in low-resource settings.

Her research emphasizes ethical challenges in global health research, leadership training for healthcare managers, and implementation science in low- and middle-income countries.

Program Leadership: Ms. Allen oversees initiatives such as the Connecticut Public Health Workforce Initiative and previously managed projects in Liberia, Ethiopia, and China. She has collaborated with USAID, the Clinton Health Access Initiative, and the National Health Service in England to improve healthcare leadership and governance.
