Nikhil Munshi

Nikhil Munshi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He serves as Assistant Director of the Physician-Scientist Training Program and Associate Director of the Harry S. Moss Heart Center. A graduate of UC-San Diego and Columbia University, Dr. Munshi combines clinical cardiology with molecular research to study cardiac rhythms and regenerative therapies.

His research explores gene regulatory networks governing cardiac conduction system development and disease mechanisms in dysrhythmias. The Munshi Lab employs a multidisciplinary strategy spanning single-cell analysis to human physiology.
