Nicole Rogers is an Assistant Professor of Silviculture at the School of Forest Resources within the University of Maine's College of Natural Sciences, Forestry and Agriculture. She joined the institution in 2021, balancing her time equally between teaching and research. Her work focuses on silviculture as a tool to address diverse societal, ecological, and economic demands on temperate forests.

Research Interests

Her current project, 'Regeneration Dynamics and Development of Maine’s Temperate Forest Ecosystems,' is supported by the Maine Agricultural and Forest Experiment Station under McIntire-Stennis project number ME042305.
Teaching
She teaches SFR 408/509: Silviculture and SFR 409: Silviculture and Forest Ecology Field Lab. Her appointment emphasizes equal parts education and research.
