Nicole Beerman is a musical theatre artist, choreographer, and educator currently teaching 1st and 4th year Musical Theatre Dance at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle. She holds a BFA in Theatre with a Musical Theatre emphasis from Cornish and is a certified Simonson Technique teacher, emphasizing anatomical awareness and injury-free dancing. Nicole is also an active performer and choreographer with extensive regional and off-Broadway credits.
Her educational background includes training at Cornish College of the Arts, the Cabaret Conference at Yale, and workshops in biomechanics and musical theatre performance. She studied under notable theatre artists including Sheila Daniels, David Taft, and Lynn Simonson.
Nicole's research and artistic interests center on movement investigation, radical autonomy in dance, wellness, and the development of student articulation, curiosity, and flexibility in performance. She integrates anatomical understanding into dance training to promote sustainable, expressive, and injury-free practice.
