Nicole Wellings is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Chester, affiliated with the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences and the Department of Communications, Screen and Performance. She serves as Programme Leader for BA Performing Arts and BA Dance.

- MSc Dance Science, Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance (2010-2012)
Research Interests:
- Dance physiology with focus on injury prevention/rehabilitation
- Movement analysis using AGAMOTTO technology
- Cross-disciplinary collaboration in arts/sciences
- Dance pedagogy emphasizing safe practices
Teaching:
- Teaching since 2015 across studio practices, musical theatre, and performance modules
