Education: PhD in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley (2001).
Research interests span central bank practices, the political economy of neoliberalism, and the evolving role of sovereignty in crisis contexts. His work analyzes how institutions like the European Central Bank navigate political pressures and environmental challenges, as seen in recent studies on green central banking and gold governance. He has also explored the EU's fiscal frameworks, Eurozone governance, and the political ramifications of austerity measures.
Recent publications (2024–2013) highlight trends in climate policy integration into central banking, the persistence of gold in monetary systems, and the resilience of neoliberal frameworks. His work often bridges historical institutionalism with contemporary governance challenges.
Jabko’s grants and advising contributions are not explicitly listed here, but his academic output reflects sustained engagement with EU integration challenges, crisis management, and the political dimensions of economic policy.
