Professor Nicolas Hart is an NHMRC Research Fellow in Cancer Survivorship at the University of Technology Sydney, where he serves as Program Director of Clinical Exercise Physiology. His research focuses on improving outcomes for cancer survivors, particularly in advanced/metastatic cancers.
His work spans three domains: survivorship/supportive care, cancer-specific outcomes, and model-of-care development. He founded the Australian Bone Research Collaborative and holds academic titles at multiple institutions.
Research Impact: Developed global standards for cancer rehabilitation with WHO and survivorship care standards with MASCC-ASCO. His work has influenced policy through the Australian Cancer Nursing and Navigation Program.
