Nicolas Gerpe is a Visiting Lecturer in Music at Scripps College specializing in contemporary piano performance. A Los Angeles native and DMA graduate from the University of Southern California, Gerpe has premiered works by composers including John Luther Adams and Frederic Rzewski. He co-founded the Panic Duo violin-piano ensemble and curates the Wicked GOAT concert series at Pasadena Conservatory.
His research focuses on 20th-21st century keyboard literature, particularly through projects like the Makrokosmos 50 Project celebrating George Crumb's work. Gerpe has performed at venues including Walt Disney Concert Hall and festivals like Ojai Music Festival.
