Sarah Cahill is a faculty member in the Department of Music History and Literature at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music (SFCM). She teaches courses such as Keyboard Literature: 20th Century and actively collaborates with ensembles like the Alexander String Quartet and New Century Chamber Orchestra. Her research focuses on 20th-century piano music, minimalist composition, and contemporary classical works. Cahill holds a BA from the University of Michigan.
Her academic publications include entries in Grove Music Online, Oxford Music Online, and Contemporary Music Review, emphasizing composers like John Adams and Frederic Rzewski.
