Nicola Terry

Nicola Terry is a Senior Research Fellow in Modelling the Building Stock at the Bartlett School of Environment, Energy & Resources (University College London). Her work focuses on building energy performance, including low-carbon heating systems, the performance gap, and energy-related behaviors. She also collaborates with Cambridge Architectural Research and Cambridge Energy as a consultant, while volunteering with Transition Cambridge and Cambridge Carbon Footprint for sustainability initiatives.

Her research spans electrical energy storage, energy generation and conversion, and climate change mitigation strategies in the built environment. Publications highlight her expertise in smart meter data analysis, heat pump adoption, and socioeconomic factors affecting energy access.
