Nicola Lindson is an Associate Professor at the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, University of Oxford, and a Kellogg College Fellow. She is a Chartered Psychologist and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, with a focus on tobacco addiction, smoking cessation, and vaping research.

Her research on nicotine addiction and smoking cessation interventions has influenced global health policy, including Cochrane systematic reviews on e-cigarettes and vaping cessation. She leads the Oxford Tobacco Addiction Group (OxTAG) and serves on the Board of Directors of the Society for Research on Nicotine & Tobacco (Europe delegate).
Current projects include TRIDENT (NIHR-funded e-cigarette support for mental health patients) and SAVINGS (e-cigarette access for financially vulnerable populations). She coordinates the University of Oxford's Systematic Reviews module and advises Kellogg College students.
Her recent publications emphasize systematic review methodology, health equity, and e-cigarette regulation. Funding sources include the NIHR, NIH, and University of Oxford teaching grants.
